The workouts involve cardio, ab and strength exercises and require floor sliders, resistance loops (light, medium and heavy) and a variety of weights. The workouts in 80 Day Obsession range from 30 to 60 minutes and are meant to be done 6 days a week with one rest day. I really wasn’t sure if I was going to get through the whole thing but I was definitely going to try. I was going to stick to the workouts AND the meal plan. I completed two more programs (21 Day Fix Extreme and T-25) before starting my last program – 80 Day Obsession. Sure, I became a little more aware of what I putting in my body but didn’t change much. I saw great physical changes from this first workout program but I continued to eat how I always had. When we got back from the trip and I was looking at photos, I realized that I needed to make a change and I decided to start a BeachBody On Demand program and successfully completed Liift4. I felt ok with how I looked but I still didn’t feel beautiful. While in Punta Cana, I spent most of my time lounging by the water or walking around in summer dresses. These videos were great but I only really used a handful and never saw much advancement in my strength or fitness level. See, I had been working out using YouTube videos for a couple of years on and off. Before going on the trip, I ramped up my work out regime. So jealous.Ībout 9 months ago, my husband and I went on vacation to an all-inclusive resort to the Dominican Republic. Those girls who could eat whatever they wanted and never gain any weight.Those girls who could wear sweatpants and still look amazing. The ones who seemed to be effortlessly pretty. As a pre-teen and teen, I constantly compared myself to other girls at school. Like I mentioned before, I have never been overweight but I have never loved my body either.
